Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using Visit America (visitamerica.info), you accept and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
What Visit America is
Visit America is an independent travel-information website. We provide plain-English guides to US entry requirements for international travellers, sourced from official U.S. government websites (travel.state.gov, cbp.gov, esta.cbp.dhs.gov, uscis.gov).
Our mission is to help travellers understand the rules and prepare correctly. Every guide is stamped with the date it was last verified against official sources, and we link to those sources so you can confirm current requirements before you travel or apply.
What Visit America is not
We are not a government agency. Visit America is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the U.S. government, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Department of State, or any other official body.
We do not sell or process ESTA or visa applications. We are a travel-information site, not an application service. We explain how to apply and link to the official government sites where you apply (esta.cbp.dhs.gov for ESTA, travel.state.gov for visas). We do not charge fees, process applications, or offer expedited service.
We are not immigration lawyers. Visit America provides general travel information, not legal or immigration advice. If you need legal advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified immigration attorney or contact a U.S. embassy or consulate.
Information accuracy and disclaimer
We work hard to keep our guides accurate and up to date, sourcing rules directly from official U.S. government sources and stamping every guide with the date it was last verified. However, US entry rules change, fees are updated, and country lists are revised. The final authority is always the official source.
Always confirm current requirements at the official sites we link (travel.state.gov, cbp.gov, esta.cbp.dhs.gov, uscis.gov) before you travel or apply.
Visit America is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions made based on information on this site, including application outcomes, denied entry, overstays, or any other immigration or travel consequences.
Entry decisions rest with CBP
An approved ESTA or a valid visa lets you travel to a U.S. port of entry and request admission. The final decision on whether you are admitted, and for how long, is made by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer at the border, not by this website or any guide we publish.
Affiliate links and recommendations
Some pages on Visit America include affiliate links to travel insurance, eSIM, and car rental services. If you purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These relationships are disclosed, and links are marked rel="sponsored".
We only recommend services we believe are useful for travellers to the United States. Our editorial content and US entry guidance are independent of affiliate relationships.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and layout of Visit America are our intellectual property or used with permission. US government information and rules are public domain; we present them in plain English and cite the official sources.
You may link to our guides. You may not copy, republish, or scrape content for commercial purposes without permission.
External links
We link to official U.S. government sites (the sources for the rules we explain), our sister site Roam States, and selected affiliate partners. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of external sites.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in how we operate or to comply with legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top will indicate when changes were made. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
